Reinforced case for Cabletech remote (DVB-T2)

Remotes delivered with DVB-T2 Cabletech set-top boxes have a common weakness. Their cases often crack in the middle because the manufacturer added a narrowing in that area, which significantly reduces structural strength. Instead of throwing away a broken remote and buying a new one, I designed a solution that lets you keep using the original device.

This custom case is designed to be installed directly onto the remote, even if it is already broken. The case is press-fitted, so some force is needed to mount it properly. This is intentional to ensure a secure fit that does not slip off during use. Once installed, the remote becomes rigid, protected from further damage, and fully functional again.

• Strengthens the area where the remote usually breaks
• Allows continued use of an already cracked or broken remote
• Precise fit that holds firmly and stays in place during use
• Mounted with a tight press fit for durability and stability
• Special cutout on the back for battery replacement without removing the case
• Saves money by extending the life of the original remote

This is a practical and budget-friendly solution that gives new life to a damaged remote without the need to replace it.
