Dahon Folding Bike Action Camera Mount/Flashlight Mount/Bike Light Mount

Problem:

After buying a Dahon, there was no place to mount an action camera or flashlight;

Design Ideas:

1. Does not affect the folding buckle function, utilizes existing holes in the folding buckle;
2. By adding ribs, adjusting print layer direction, and using PETG, ensure actual strength;

Bill of Materials

1. M3 x 8 countersunk nuts X 4;
2. M5 cap nuts X2;

3. Print left bracket, right bracket, action camera base x2, McDonald's logo;

   

Installation Guide:

1. Attach the action camera base to one side of the bracket with M3 nuts, do not tighten; insert the bracket horizontally into the Dahon folding buckle. It is recommended to remove the folding buckle and install it on a table. Align with the three triangular holes of the folding buckle, insert forcefully, and the side wall of the bracket will fit against the folding buckle;

   

    

2. After inserting both brackets, fasten the final screws; tighten the screws with some force, because the screw holes are 2.5mm and the screws are 3mm, the screws need to bite into the plastic, so apply pressure to lock them in at first.

   

   3. Stick the McDonald's logo for decoration, or any sticker you like
