Assembly

These are the 6 component parts
Rings 1 & 2 simply screw together
Rings 2 and 3 easily screw together, with Ring 3 serving as the base for the light. To enhance stability, I placed a self-adhesive metal disc to the base, as the base of the used light is magnetic. While this aids in securely holding the light in place, it's important to note that it's not mandatory, as the fit is snug without it.
Screw the screen into ring 3 before placing the light inside as this will give you more freedom to assemble.
At this stage you can place the light inside the screen, it will fit securely in base ring 3 and if you place a metal disc inside it will snap in to place.
With the light inside you can now screw ring 4 to the top of the screen.
Finally you can screw the top ring in to place on ring 4.
Disassembly is straightforward in case you need to remove the light for charging or to switch off, it is recommended to opt for the remote version, allowing convenient control from a distance.

I loved making this. Thanks for sharing it. I decided to try and give mine that weathered and used Star Wars feel. I also adapted the Jabba's Palace top part and added the High Rebuplic Jedi symbol. I'm thinking about clear coating some of the metallic parts so they look better. I also added this Bluetooth speaker, which fits nicely in the section under the light http://tinyurl.com/37kbe42f, so now it's a Star Wars Bluetooth speaker. Here's a video of a lightsaber sound effect looping through it: http://tinyurl.com/ycykx93w

Absolutely love this and the work warrell72 does 👍 I used various 'rusting' type paints and chrome mixed to produce the typical 'Star Wars' look. It turned out great.

I've tried to print ring two on my P1S twice now and I keep getting some pretty bad stringing on the bottom. Any thoughts or recommendations on this?

To be expected to some extent when printing without supports. Simply trim away any stringing as best as you can. When assembling the parts for the first time screw back and fourth gradually, moving back and forth, akin to tapping a thread. This process will clean up the threads and any remnants won't be visible once the assembly is complete.
