works fantastic for the stock case, I'd love to see one made to allow us to use this topshell(for better cooling) https://makerworld.com/en/models/2043283-case-for-lenovo-m720q-front-panel-top-case#profileId-2210228

Theoretically you can modify the part in Studio to do that.

I guess it should be possible to add several hexagons or so and use them to make some holes for ventilation. Not 100% sure if this would work. Maby it will work if you don't use walls in your printsettings. This way your part is more or less just infill. There should be a way to make this in Studio without remixing the whole part.

I printed this for my Lenovo m720q and I am blown away by how good the fit is. The reliefs for the rubber feet are perfectly sized and spaced, and the PC was able to get into the case so easily. I really appreciate that you added the screw plates in the back. I wasn't able to screw it in successfully, mine was just a little off, but the fact that the plates can stop the PC from sliding back is a valuable consideration. I also appreciate the single body design; since it made printing easy and didn't require assembly. This is an incredibly helpful design and I'm excited to incorporate it into my rack, thank you!

I've not printed it, as one thing stops me, rack looks overall great should be easy to print, don't see why not. and comments proofs the fitment - great! the thing that stops me, why 42mm height, not a standard 1U 44.45mm-44.5mm ?? but i may use to to remix as design seems quite cool!!

42mm, because I'm not an IT professional and I don't know the standards. I simply measured the whole thing and constructed it the way I felt was right. The ~2mm in height makes no difference.
