🪵 Modular Template Set for Pepper Mills – Copying Aid for the Lathe (3D Print Template)

This template system is a 3D-printable template to assist with turning individual pepper mills. It consists of stackable mold parts, a mounting system for the lathe, and a practical stand for previewing and storing the assembled mill shape.

🧩 Function & Application

The system allows for assembling an individual pepper mill shape from various segments. The chosen shape can be inspected on the stand and then slid onto a threaded rod for turning.

This template is ideal for anyone who wants to precisely replicate wooden objects using a copying device or by hand.

🛠️ How it works:

1. Assemble: The mold parts are assembled onto an M8 threaded rod in any desired order.
2. Secure: With the help of a supplied holder and M8 nuts, the set is securely fixed on the lathe.
3. Turn: The assembled profile now serves as a copying template – either with a copying mechanism or freehand.
4. Preview & Storage: For previewing the shape or for storage, the included stand is used.
5. Stand with Eyelet: The upper end cap of the stand is equipped with an integrated eyelet – allowing the complete unit to be hung up to save space.
6. Glue on Base: If the stand is to be set up, the included base part can be easily glued on (e.g., with super glue or 3D glue).
