Description

InvisiBait, A Pet-Safe Refillable Ant Poison Station, designed for homes with pets.

After years of spending hundreds on watered-down ant poisons from big-name brands that never quite got the job done, I decided to build a better solution, especially for homes with curious pets. If you’ve got dogs or cats like I do, you know everything becomes a toy. That’s why I created this self-contained, refillable ant bait station with a tight slide-off lid that locks in the poison and keeps pets safely out.

To make sure it stays right where you place it, I sometimes add double-sided 3M tape for secure mounting. Whether it’s behind cabinets, under sinks, or along baseboards, this station stays put.

💰 Save Money. Make Your Own Bait.

With this reusable station, you’re already saving money, why not take it further? You can make your own powerful ant bait at home using this simple recipe:

Sweet Borax Paste (for sugar-loving ants)
- Ingredients: 3 parts sugar to 1 part borax (e.g., 1 cup sugar to ⅓ cup borax)
- Instructions: Mix dry ingredients, crushing lumps. Add ¼ to ½ cup water to form a thick paste. Optional: add ¼ cup syrup for extra stickiness. Place small amounts inside bottle caps or bait stations.

Peanut Butter Borax Bait (for protein-seeking ants)
- Ingredients: 3 parts peanut butter to 1 part borax
- Instructions: Blend thoroughly into a soft bait. Apply in areas with active ant trails.

⚠️ Important Safety & Use Tips
- Use responsibly: Borax is low-toxicity but should be kept away from children and pets. Place bait in hard-to-reach or elevated areas.
- Don’t kill worker ants: Let them carry bait back to the colony, it’s the only way to eliminate the queen and larvae.
- Monitor and refresh: Check daily and replenish as needed for continued effectiveness.
- Outdoor use: Borax can harm plants in high concentrations, use containers to protect nearby vegetation.
- Different ants, different diets: Some prefer sweets, others proteins, research to find what your ant species likes best.
