Introduction:

Coffee grounds can be recycled for various uses such as handmade exfoliating soap, cat litter odor control, refrigerator deodorizer, cigarette extinguishing, composting, and more However, if wet coffee grounds are left piled up and not promptly broken up and air-dried, they may attract colorful molds There are no commercially available tools for efficiently processing spent coffee grounds, so I designed one: a coffee grounds bucket integrated with a coffee grounds breaking tool and scoop, allowing you to easily break up the coffee grounds every time after making coffee Then, collect them in the bucket or pour them into another container, air dry them on the balcony, or dry them in an oven, air fryer, or dehydrator, saying goodbye to molds

About the Design:

• Modeled in Fusion;
• Tool head with threaded design, replaceable;
• Grid-like round scoop for efficient crushing of coffee pucks and stirring of grounds, effectively breaking up clumped coffee grounds, while the mesh structure also makes it easy to shake off grounds stuck to the tool;
• The other end of the scoop is shaped like a diagonally cut bamboo, ensuring its function as a scoop while providing a good grip, making it convenient to transfer coffee grounds into sachets for use as a refrigerator deodorizer;
• Print-friendly shape design.

Printing and Usage Instructions:

• Standard settings, 2 walls, 15% grid infill; tested and confirmed sufficient strength. If printed with PETG, higher strength and durability can be achieved;
• You can also print only this scoop tool for use with your existing coffee grounds bin. If the size is incorrect, you can use the "Scale" tool in your slicer software to adjust by percentage (note that the accessory head will also scale by percentage);
• PLA is not heat resistant and can easily deform when heated. It is not recommended to use it immediately for stirring when the coffee pucks and grounds are still very hot.
• You can customize and optimize for noise reduction and anti-slip: add thick EVA foam tape or other cushioning material to the stick or the bin's notch; add fixing materials to the bottom of the bin, such as anti-slip silicone pads, 3M nano tape, etc.
