Description

Inspired by a product found online I've decided to make my own version of Calcifer Candle!

For this print you will need one tealight with 3.8cm diameter (I think it's the standard for tealight).

The model is made by 3 pieces:

  • Calcifer
  • The candle
  • The base

The candle and the base are very easy to print and you can print it without support (but to be sure i suggest to you to print the base with support).

Calcifer unluckily it's tricky to print since it has to be only wall, I suggest to you tree support. Maybe you'll need to print a pair of calcifer before you obtain a good print.

I reccomand also to print calcifer in a clear translucent filament.

Another important reccomandation is for Calcifer paint. you have to paint with a very thin layer of colors mixed with water.

This two reccomandation are important because the lealight has a very small led inside.

For the final assembly you have to glue Calcifer to the light (I used hot glue).

When you want to turn on the light you have to remove Calcifer since the tealight have the switch under itself.

Hope you enjoy the model al much I've enjoyed modeling and printing!
