Description

I redid my original Solar Finder to add a synta foot.  Instead of bolts to hold things together it uses 4x 20x2mm magnets.  Make sure you get the polarity right when assembling!  This can be placed into a telescope's synta foot and has full articulation.  This is an improvement over the original because that version could not adjust for height differences.

When should you use this one over the original model?  If one of these is true:

1. your telescope tube is non-ferrous (aluminum, sonotube, tec)
2. the original needs a height adjustment to line up properly (maybe a sloped tube?)

For example, I would use this with my Celestron SCT because it's aluminum.
I would not use this on my Orion XT8 because the other one works amazing on it.
