Description
The Panzerhaubitze 2000 (PzH 2000 for short) is a self-propelled, armored howitzer produced by the German companies KNDS Deutschland and Rheinmetall.
It serves as the standard artillery piece for the German Army's artillery forces, replacing the Panzerhaubitze M109. The German Army's armored artillery received a total of 185 units between 1998 and 2003, with 37 of these systems subsequently transferred to Croatia and Lithuania starting in 2014.
