Description

This is my sway bar brace / mount for the traxxas slash 2wd.

Note: to mount it this way see the youtube video →   LCRC Installs Hot Racing Wide Sway Bars onto a Traxxas Slash 2wd (Part Number TE311SLC)  this is both for the no name aliexpress/amazon sway bar kits and the name brands one like Hot Racing

If you run the rear sway bar you will know there are various different ways to mount it. After alot of trial an error, because of how low i run my car running the sway bar around the shock tower has worked best for me. Therefore, i have created a little mount that holds it in place.

To mount the sway bar this way you need to cut off the little bent ends on each side. Ive seen some on youtube do this so if you are curious look there. (in youtube video mentioned above)

Screws in using the existing screws.

ive made mine in PLA+ but i live pretty far north (Denmark) where we don't see much heat. If this is an issue the .STL file is provided so you can print it in whatever material you wish. No supports needed.

simple 8 min print for me.

If you find it usefull please give a boost or a comment. Not many rc designers out there so i will really appreciate it!

ps. sorry for the dirty pictures, didnt manage to get my car cleaned before i took them ;/
