Hi! I'm excited to present my 1:200 scale model of the Soviet prototype ekranoplan KM, nicknamed the “Caspian Sea Monster” by the CIA.

This is one of my favorite models—after all, who doesn't love ekranoplans?
It's a large and time-consuming print, but I believe it's 100% worth the effort. You can also scale it to better fit your size requirements.

I plan to add a water base with wave effects later, similar to those included with other KM models available for purchase. I still need to buy the right filament and run some test prints.

If you print my models, please share photos in the comments! It really helps with the algorithm!

Thanks for making these awesome models! I know how time consuming this stuff gets so thanks for taking the time to make these and share them with us! Also a huge fan of the Ekranoplans. It seems like you only do Russian stuff but I would love to see a good quality Ohio class SSBN. Keep up the good work!

Don't worry about it. And if you have other things you want model go ahead and do those. But if you don't know what to build I think a lot of people would like a good Ohio Class Submarine.

Awesome design, but in most photos there were 6 launchers on the main fuselage. Looking forward to more updates on this model!

Thanks! The launchers you're talking about were on the 'Lun'-class ekranoplan, which was made after the ekranoplan I modeled- the Caspian Sea Monster.

Here is the CSM in her final resting place. There are 6 things on its back, not sure if these are what you refer to. The model is missing them...

Exactly! 6 fixed rocket launchers... they weren't in the initial stages of CSM till it comes into service. they're not a must to be on the plane but it would be cool if the designer would update a battle-ready model too!

This model looks amazing, would you mind uploading a whole version for scaling purposes (I like to print way less scale in one piece, slanted upright like taking off with supports) ALSO a Lun-Class with the sixe big missiles would be awesome too! I can ofc boost again for those files!
