- 23507TV190YE 2,35 mm x 0,7 mm DC Power Connector x 2:
- Standard Arduino Momentary Switch x 2:
Description
Shift your gears from any position: aero, climbing or sprinting. Works with SRAM eTap.
Most likely you want to make at least 2 of them, one for each side.
Haptics could be improved. It never shifts unintentionally but sometimes I don't hit the switch right and it doesn't shift.
Assembly:
- Print at least two plugs and a switch cover.
- Insert a DC connector in one of the plugs and clamp them in a vise. Saw throug the outer wall. So you can easily guide the wire to the back of the connector.
- Solder wires to the inner and outer part of the connector.
- Insert the DC connector into the second printed plug.
- Glue the DC connector and wires into the printed plug.
- Cut the wires to the correct length and solder them to the momentary switch.
- Add the printed switch cover and waterproof the switch with heatshrink tube and/or tape.
- Remove the han dlebar tape.
- Plug the connector into your SRAM eTap shifters
- Tape the wires and switch to the handlebars.
- Add the handlebar tape again.
- Repeat on the other side.
Sorry for the bad pictures. My shifters are on the bike and as long as they work flawlessly I won't disassemble them. They should like similar to https://de.aliexpress.com/w/wholesale-sram-etap-blip.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.search.0
