Description

Shift your gears from any position: aero, climbing or sprinting. Works with SRAM eTap.

Most likely you want to make at least 2 of them, one for each side.

Haptics could be improved. It never shifts unintentionally but sometimes I don't hit the switch right and it doesn't shift.

Assembly:

  1. Print at least two plugs and a switch cover.
  2. Insert a DC connector in one of the plugs and clamp them in a vise. Saw throug the outer wall. So you can easily guide the wire to the back of the connector.
  3. Solder wires to the inner and outer part of the connector.
  4. Insert the DC connector into the second printed plug.
  5. Glue the DC connector and wires into the printed plug.
  6. Cut the wires to the correct length and solder them to the momentary switch.
  7. Add the printed switch cover and waterproof the switch with heatshrink tube and/or tape.
  8. Remove the han dlebar tape.
  9. Plug the connector into your SRAM eTap shifters
  10. Tape the wires and switch to the handlebars.
  11. Add the handlebar tape again.
  12. Repeat on the other side.

Sorry for the bad pictures. My shifters are on the bike and as long as they work flawlessly I won't disassemble them. They should like similar to https://de.aliexpress.com/w/wholesale-sram-etap-blip.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.search.0
