Description

Show off your LEGOs Technic builds or model cars in style with this sleek, modular display shelf! Designed to be fully customizable, stackable, and compatible with LED lighting, this shelf fits perfectly under a TV unit or as a standalone showcase. Ideal for any collectible builds. Each module can be printed separately and stacked to create your ideal layout. Fits most large LEGOs Technic cars.

 

I printed with 0.6mm nozzle to speed up printing.

  • 0.48mm layer height
  • 15% Infill
  • No supports required.
  • Adjusted Z to 242mm for the shelf and printed 5 qty. (I needed it to be 1220 mm in total length)
  • The length of the shelf should be your total length you want, minus 20mm for the Left and Right ends. Divided into printable lengths based on your printer max available height.

Cut LED Strip to cover the the width of the shelf and slot it into place. Wiring holes available on either side of the shelf.

Design is customisable for you to adjust the height, depth and viewing angle (Slope).

 

There are 2 holes for curtain rods to go through ( I used 16mm diameter rods) Also customisable based on the dimeter you find. This span from left end to right end through the shelves for prevent sagging.

The rod have a 5mm depth hole on both left and right ends, calculate the length accordingly for them to span the entire with from end to end.

 

I have provided provisions for 3x6 mm dowel pins so you can print multiple and stack them on top of each other as well if you want to go HIGH!!

Excellent and Affordable Display Solution! A fantastic print that produces a brilliant display case for your cars. It is worth noting that the print is quite filament-hungry, but this is a small price to pay considering it is much more economical than buying a pre-made case online.Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone needing an effective and affordable way to show off their collection.

i wanted to show the f1 with led and this was the best design i found. i used 15mm copper plumbing pipe as a support for the parts. printed two shelfs with h2s and had change the thickness because it was too thick and i wanted to save a little filament. also made a hole on the left end so the wire can go out from the led and it will be seamless look. overall used around 2 spools of PLA Matte filament.
