Introduction:
- This set of equipment is suitable for smoke and dust filtration during electric welding operations in enclosed environments, effectively filtering dust particles, lead vapor, and odors

- The device is modularly assembled using magnetic connections, divided into mandatory print modules and optional modules. Accessories can be selected according to actual needs

- This device uses the Xiaomi handheld vacuum cleaner as its power source. Its suction power and battery life fully meet the requirements of this setup, and it can be used and stored as needed
- The magnet positions are designed with a unified specification, and the design standards are open. Friends in need are welcome to create related peripherals

- The demonstrated solution uses a bracket module for the popular T80 electric soldering iron and Xiaomi precision screwdriver. If not available, this module can be replaced with a pen holder module
- All models in this solution require no supports and are compatible with all printing sizes. They can be printed with one click based on the original configuration
- Filtration Function Introduction:
- Utilizes a saturated filtration design concept to ensure filtration effectiveness meets requirements
- The filtration tower can hold up to 6 filter cartridge sets. You can configure the filter media according to your needs. The HEPA filter can be cut and inserted into the filter box, then filled with an appropriate amount of activated carbon. Therefore, this solution has up to 7 layers of filtration and features a design with replaceable and customizable filter modules. 1 layer of electrostatic filter cotton for preliminary filtration, 1 layer of HEPA filtration for lead vapor filtration, 5 layers of activated carbon for welding odor adsorption, and finally, 1 layer of the handheld vacuum's own filter for carbon dust filtration
- Body Introduction
- Filtration Tower Shell Module: Can accommodate 6 filter boxes. Magnets are installed at the bottom of the filtration tower and can be picked up with a straight iron rod before installation. A total of 27 6X2.5mm magnets
- Base Module: Designed with four independent small compartments for small parts or storing soldering iron caps, etc. The magnet holes are reserved, not all are required, and magnets can be inserted according to your usage needs. A total of 46 6X2.5mm magnets
- Filter Box Module: The default settings accommodate cylindrical activated carbon with a minimum diameter of 1.5mm. You can reduce the infill density for faster printing speeds if needed. The filter box features a self-locking design with a groove at the bottom, so it is not recommended to overfill it
- Materials to Purchase:
- Magnets: All should be N52 strong magnets. Except for the soldering iron stand module which requires 3 3X2.5mm magnets, all other modules use 6X2.5mm strong magnets. It is recommended to buy 100 for better value
- HEPA filter: Choose one with a folded height no greater than 2.2mm. Cut and install according to the filter box size

- Electrostatic cotton: Buy the cheapest available. Cut two pieces and place them at the front air inlet

- Activated carbon: Columnar type with a diameter of 1.5mm-2mm is recommended to prevent small particles from falling out
- Bearings: Both the soldering iron cleaning module and the electric soldering iron stand module use the cheapest 608zz bearings
- Installation Notes:
- Since each filament has a different sinkage rate, it is difficult to prevent magnets from falling off after installation. Therefore, it is recommended to apply a small amount of glue before installation
- Prioritize installing the magnet parts of the base module. Ensure all magnets on the bottom box module are installed with a consistent magnetic pole direction. All other accessories should be installed in the opposite direction based on the bottom shell magnets.
- For magnet installation, it is more convenient to use a flat hex key or rod to attract the magnets before inserting them
- The filter box lid design includes small airtight surfaces at the openings. Therefore, it is recommended to arrange them alternately inside the filtration tower to increase the airflow path
