Stanley Straw to Penjamin Adapter – Customizable

This is a customizable 3D-printable adapter that connects a Stanley-style rigid straw to a penjamin-style device or any similar rectangular form factor.

💨Use Cases

• Direct use - Connect the cylindrical end to your Stanley straw, and the rectangular end to your penjamin. Secure/seal the gap between the penjamin and the adapter with duct tape and enjoy!
• Silicone mold - Print the right size for your application and use to make a silcone mold for the best fitment and seal!

🛠️ Customizable Parameters:

• Straw diameter (for different brands & styles) - 9.5mm works well on my Stanley.
• Straw connection depth (helps with secure fit)
• Penjamin thickness, width, and adapter height - Adjust fit for any device!
• Wall thickness for both ends
• Individual color settings for each component (Multi-Color Supported)

🖨️ Printing Notes:

• No supports required
• Print in PETG or PLA+ for durability
• Tolerances are designed for most rigid straws, but you can adjust them easily using the Maker World Parametric Model Maker interface

⚠️ Problems:

This print is still in Beta and needs a lot of testing. 

• There is a gap between the penjamin adapter and the penjamin that causes a lack of suction during use. So far, I have resolved this by taping the penjamin to the adapter with duct tape to create a seal around the gap. I will continue to develop the model to reduce airflow ineffciency as best as I can.
• The Stanley lid is pretty airtight which can also affect airflow. Briefly unscrewing the lid in-between uses solves this issue temporarily and this may not be a problem on some non-Stanley tumblers.
• There is stringy material where the straw adapter meets the penjamin adapter. This presents a potential choking hazard. I am working to reduce or eliminate this issue.
• Will produce a cylindrical setting later for devices that have cylindrical mouthpieces.
• Will try to add tested profiles for different pens as time goes on.
