Thanks for printing. Eventhough PETG more resistant to heat it is a little bit softer than PLA so you might face worn outs more faster than PLA on the hinges.

Similar thing happened to me with one of my filaments which turned out the model is lost its shape due to wet filament. You should dry your filaments otherwise small details with fast machines are having problems.
