Polestar 3 Armrest Bucket / Divider / Coin option
Print Profile(1)

Bill of Materials
Description
Bucket for the Polestar 3 to fill the deep hole below the armrest! Full credit to “Maker Max” for the original bucket! Mine would not exist without his base work! I printed his version actually twice. His standard version first, but used TPU for AMS and fuzzy skin, which made it a very snug fit.
I figured, I wanted a deeper version and used his parametric tool to get it. Version 2 was scaled down to give the fuzzy skin more room but ended up to be loose. However, I used it in the car for a couple of days and realized what I actually wanted / needed.
So I went ahead, made it even deeper and added a couple of dividers and two coin compartments, which are one size fits all from 2 Euro to 5 Cent pieces. The depth is now app. half of the depth of the “armrest cave”. The dividers not only provide compartments for different stuff, but also help to get out the bucket in and out much easier!
I printed this version scaled to 99,5% in circumference and reduced the fuzzy skin setting to a lower value - this fits the hole easy. No problem getting the bucket in or out. I assume with the lower fuzzy skin, the 100% size version should work fine as well, but not tested. Available in the print profile though.
Before I started integrating my additions I also planned on having a hole in the bucket to actually put the available light to use. Unfortunately I forgot to do it and printed. When I got my finished print out of the printer I realized my mistake. Anyways, I will now use the existing one and might just cut the window in the bucket if I figure I still want it. However, I integrated this version also in the print profile and as a downloadable file. Just be aware, this version is NOT tested - use on your own risk!
The print profile includes both versions with and without hole for the light and also scaled to 99,5% and 100% respectively. The raw data files are 100% scale. Print in any material, but I suggest TPU for AMS to avoid stuff rattling while driving.
Edit, 2025-03-09: added version without coin compartment
