Description

Needed clips to reattach my Toyota Sienna bumper trim and I was frustrated to find that none of the retainer clips on Maker World were properly designed for strength and easily cracked on the layer lines under mild tension.

This clip was designed to print in the correct orientation for strength and indeed they are very strong.

These should work on bumper covers, wheel wells, and any place you find such retainer clips used in automotive trim applications.

To use, insert the large piece into the hole and then add the center piece to keep the clip from flexing.

Designed to fit an ~8mm hole.

Very smart design. Prints in place perfectly, but uinfortunately doesn't match my car, but that's my mistake.

Doesn't quite fit my tacoma's bumper, but it was worth a shot First print failed, but I put some glue down and it came out perfectly in prusa petg

part didnt expand with pin pressed all the way into position

The pin is not meant to expand the clip but rather to keep the lower bulge from compressing. If it's not securing in your case, you likely need to scale the clip in the slicer for your specific application.

Saved me time and money! The car still makes a clicking sound, I think the half circle shape of the top is a mistake. I plan to rework it into a full model, print with supports.
