Sukhoi Su-27 “Flanker” kit card
Despite summer breaks and some exciting side quests (the results of which I’ll be able to share soon), I’m doing my best to stick to the usual biweekly release schedule.
Yes, I know — another Russian jet. But honestly, these airframes are just hard to beat in terms of looks.
This model is based on my earlier Su-33 kit, reworked and rescaled to match the iconic Su-27. A few of you have asked for this one specifically, so here it is!
🛠️ Fun facts:
— The Su-27 was designed to counter the American F-15 in the Cold War era
— It first flew in 1977 and still remains in active service in many countries
— Known for its agility and stunning airshow maneuvers like the “Pugachev’s Cobra”
— The Su-27 is the base platform for many later Sukhoi variants including the Su-30, Su-33, and Su-35
