Roman Gladiator Helmet (Murmillo)
This helmet replicates a Roman gladiator's helmet. It accommodates even larger head sizes (up to 62cm) and, for comfortable wear, should be internally fitted with some foam padding
The lower visor is split into two sections and can be opened. For secure fastening, two M5x16 countersunk screws are required
The individual components can be precisely aligned using dowel pins and adhered with superglue or Uhu Plast. Additionally, I internally 'welded' all seams with a soldering iron and filament
For an impeccable finish, the helmet should, of course, be filled, sanded, and painted
The accompanying photographs depict the helmet in its assembled yet unworked state
