This is a print-in-place cord stop / cord lock for use with paracord, or other types of cord, or elastic.
It is 100% 3D printed, and includes a 3D printed spring. No assembly is required. No hardware is required.
Two versions are included, one that is 18 mm wide, and the other is 16 mm wide.
Both can accommodate two pieces of Type III paracord. The 16 mm version is a little tight, but it works. The tightness actually makes the cord stop hold better.
The total diameter of the cord hole is 6.8 to 7.6 mm, depending which version you use.
Both hold the paracord pretty tightly. But don't trust your life with it.
They should be printed, as oriented in the print profile, with the spring side flat against the build plate.
PETG is strongly recommended. The 3D printed spring probably will not work with PLA, and may break.
Let the part cool completely before pressing the button, and exercising the spring.
