Basically good! Three suggestions to improve it. The lid is too thin, it breaks off easily, especially when you want to open it to replace a tape. Make it thicker and design the bar at the bottom with more play. Secondly, provide for a spring in the cutting device so that it doesn't wobble around constantly. Thirdly, the apparatus only works perfectly when 30mm tape is used! If it's narrower, it just wobbles back and forth and cannot be precisely adhered. A differential ring could help to keep the tape running straight. With these corrections, it is an apparatus that meets professional standards!

The printed model itself printed great without issues, but I have a hard time believing that this design was actually tested with tape that is less than 30mm instead of exactly 30mm even though the description claims it will work. Without any pieces bracing the tape to the edge, the tape will just wiggle around the extra space as it is rolling, so you won't get a straight line when taping. Also, the cutter worked for about a single roll of tape before wearing out. Should really be designed for using a metal blade. This was almost more of a hassle than it was worth. As others have suggested, I experienced the need for: - a springy tape cutter so the blade is not just wiggling around - a thicker side plate as the plastic cracks when opening it if you are not careful Overall, a great idea and a great start, but it needs some major improvements before I would recommend using this in the wild.

the only thing is that the parts that I assume were created to cut the tape do not do so, otherwise the tape is fine for proper masking

parts didn't fit, back wall.was too thin broke trying to take it apart. waste of time and filament.
Strength Issue:back wall too thin
Other Issues:parts didn't fit.

Side wall too thin, therefore unstable. only works with 30mm bands, narrower and then you can't tape it straight. otherwise a good concept!
