Fidget Clicker Mini Books

A tiny book shaped clicker to keep on your desk or carry as a keychain! This model includes three different cover designs: hearts, flower, and dragon – choose your favorite to print. ✨📚

Designed for multicolor printing (AMS required).
No supports were used on the cover in my test prints, but feel free to use them if you prefer.

I’ve updated all three book covers (hearts, flower, and dragon) with a strengthened cross shaped connector. Some makers mentioned that the original peg could loosen or snap during print/assembly, so this new version is sturdier and more reliable.

You will need a Cherry MX–style mechanical keyboard switch. 

⌨️ ✨ For those who aren’t sure which switch to get:
I use a Cherry MX–style mechanical keyboard switch. It has a small cross-shaped stem on top where my models attach. You can find these switches in mechanical keyboard stores, electronics shops, or DIY keyboard sites. I can’t include a link here, but I’ve added a photo for reference.
 
 

Assembly:
Print both parts – the book base and the cover.
Insert a Cherry-style keycap switch (square stem) onto the cross-shaped peg inside the book cover first.
Then, press the switch (now attached to the cover) into the square hole in the book base.
You can add a small drop of glue to the peg and inside the base for a more secure fit — just don’t overdo it to avoid glue overflow.

I used a square edged switch like in the photo, but I also tested with a smooth-edged one and it worked fine. Make sure to check your switch model before assembling!
