Description

Design Story & Description:
I’m a boxer, and  often after training my friends and I end up with sore, swollen wrists and tendons. We used to strap on ice packs or frozen peas, but holding them in place was a pain and kept us from doing anything else. That’s why I designed the TPU Cold HealBand: a 3D‑printed, flexible wrist wrap you fill with water and freeze. Slip it on, and it locks in place so you can move freely while getting instant cold relief also known as cryotherapy.

Recommended Settings:

In order to print watertight tpu this are the settings that I have tried with bambulab TPU 90a and 95a

  • flow ratio of your filament +0.20
  • max volumetric speed -0.3
  • ironing on top surfaces
  • line widths +0.2
  • wall loops 5 or more
  • 45% or greater infill
  • +15 degrees filament temperature
  • fan speed 20%

Helps with:

Tendinitis, sprains, muscle soreness, joint inflammation, and minor sports injuries. Great for post‑workout recovery, especially for wrists, ankles, elbows, and forearms. 🧊💪 Perfect for athletes, boxers, climbers, or anyone dealing with overuse pain.

How to Use:
Once printed:

  1. Use a fine‑needle syringe to fill the inner chamber through a single small hole.

  2. (Optional) Seal the hole by gently heating it,maybe with a soldering iron tip.

  3. Freeze for at least 2 hours.❄️❄️

Slip the Cold HealBand onto your wrist (or any joint) and let the cold do its work!

ICE MODULE NOW PARAMETRIC!❗

Clicking the edit option you can customize the size of the ice module in order to cover bigger areas.

The ice module allows you to use bandages or any material of your election to attach the HealBand to bigger body parts.

There is also a print profile for the default size ice module with the recommended parameters.

Cold Therapy Tips:
For best swelling relief, apply cold for 15–20 minutes at a time, 3–4 times a day, especially in the first 48 hours after injury. Taking short breaks between sessions helps protect your skin and maximizes anti‑inflammatory effects.
