Aquarium airlift surface skimmer

I needed a device to skim the surface of my brackish water aquarium, and couldn't find any suitable, so i made this.

You will need an air stone to produce the uplifting bubbles. I've 3D printed this incredible bubble difuser. It seems that it is even better than an traditional air stone.

I wanted to add some filtering as well as skimming, so i made room for a mechanic filter (sponge) and bio media. I've used recycled 3D-poop as bio media.

There are indeed room for improvements in my skimmer, but it's working perfectly and doing its job well.
