Boost Me (for free)

If you like the model, please boost me. A boost doesn't hurt :)

I designed a tablet holder here for the Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Tablet. The holder is angled so that the screen remains vertical. The headrest mount is quite tight and must be snapped into place with force. The depth is approximately 50mm. This gives the tablet a good distance from the seat

  • Diameter of headrest rod: 14mm
  • Center distance between the two rods: 136mm

Please be sure to check the dimensions before printing! Diameter and center distance vary between vehicle models

I would be happy if compatible models are confirmed in the comments. Then I can list more models

I printed the model as a sample in PLA+ and tested it for a weekend. I have not yet observed any deformation despite higher temperatures in the car. For higher temperature resistance, I recommend PETG or ABS for in-car applications

The print profile is for PLA. I use Jayo's PLA+. If someone designs a print profile for PETG or ABS, I would be happy if it is uploaded as a remix

Update October 2025:

After a longer test with PLA+, I must advise printing this model with a different, temperature-resistant material. The model was mounted in my car and deformed without use or force. The tablet can no longer be inserted this way
