adapter for amputated finger 1 missing index limb

This 3D model is an adapter to attach on a finger. Mainly made for person with partly amputated finger. It is a first prototype. 

You can attach to the adapter various other useful tools or decorative objects. We will upload them soon.

We scanned a partially amputated index finger, provided at true-to-life scale model. It is designed for creators, designers, and makers who want to build inclusive tools, prosthetics, or adaptive fashion accessories.

This adapter and scan is part of the Mega(Wo)men Project, a collaboration between the Berlin-based NGO InMOE and the designer behind @3dprinted.fashion. The project's mission is to support inclusion through design, especially for people with limb differences and partial amputations.

We are sharing 3D printable amputated body parts for free to encourage makers to explore solutions in:

• Assistive technology
• Custom prosthetic components
• Modular wearable
• Inclusive and adaptive fashion
• Accessibility-focused product design

This model can be used as a base mesh for prosthetic development, or as a reference for ergonomic tools, jewelry, or body-interface designs.
