Description
🧱 Old Doorway Entrance – 3D Description for D&D Campaign
Name: The Forgotten Threshold
Type: Terrain Prop / Entrance Piece
🏰 Visual Description
- The doorway framed by cracked stone pillars etched with faded runes.
- The archway is semi-circular, with weathered keystones at the top, some chipped and misaligned, suggesting centuries of neglect.
- Vines and moss creep along the edges, sculpted to appear raised and textured, giving the impression of nature reclaiming the structure.
- The door itself is missing, leaving a shadowed void that hints at mystery and danger beyond.
- On either side of the entrance, torch sconces are carved into the stone—one broken, the other still clutching a rusted torch.
- The threshold stone is slightly sunken, worn smooth by countless footsteps, with a crack running diagonally across it like a scar.
🧙 Lore & Campaign Use
This doorway can serve as:
- The entrance to a forgotten temple, sealed for generations.
- A portal to an ancient crypt, where undead stir beneath the earth.
- A gateway to a hidden grove, protected by druidic magic.
- A ruined castle’s last standing remnant, whispering of lost glory.
🛠️ STL Design Notes
- Designed to be printable without supports, with recessed details for easy painting.
- Can be split into modular pieces: archway, pillars, threshold, and accessories (vines, torch).
- Compatible with OpenLOCK or magnetic bases for integration into dungeon tiles.
