Description
Gomu Gomu no Mi with Tree Display – One Piece Inspired 3D Print
"I'm gonna be King of the Pirates!" — Monkey D. Luffy, Chapter 1
The fruit that started it all. A violet, spherical fruit covered in curly S-shaped swirls One Piece Wiki — and the most consequential accidental snack in pirate history. This is the Gomu Gomu no Mi, and it belongs on every One Piece shelf.
About the Model
The Gomu Gomu no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that grants the user's body the properties of rubber, making them a Rubber Human. One Piece Wiki Luffy ate it as a kid without knowing what it was — right out of Shanks' treasure chest — and spent the next twenty-plus years figuring out how to turn a stretchy body into the most powerful fighting style in the world.
But the real secret runs deeper. The fruit was originally called the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika — a Mythical Zoan classified fruit that allows the user to transform into the legendary Sun God Nika. The World Government renamed and reclassified it to hide the truth One Piece Wiki, and spent over 800 years trying to get their hands on it — and never succeeded. Sportskeeda Shanks didn't steal it by accident. He knew exactly what it was.
This model captures the fruit's iconic design — the kind of prop piece that works as a display item, a shelf centerpiece, or the start of a full devil fruit collection.
✨ Features Included in This File
- 🎨 Two-tone design — deep violet/purple body with contrasting swirl details
- 💎 Faithful recreation of the S-curve swirl pattern from the manga and anime
- 🍈 Organic melon-like shape with stem — screen-accurate silhouette
- 📐 Compact display-friendly form factor, stable base
🛠️ Printing Notes
- Layer height: 0.12–0.16mm recommended to keep the swirl surface detail clean
- Filament: Silk purple PLA really captures the fruit's sheen; matte works well for a flatter anime-accurate look. A dark grape or eggplant tone is closest to canon
- Scale: Prints cleanly from 50%–200%. Go larger for a showpiece; smaller for a keychain-sized collectible
🎨 Customization Notes
- Print in red or orange for a "what if" alternate colorway
- Scale down and add a loop to the stem for a keychain or bag charm
- Pairs naturally with other devil fruit models for a full collection display — Mera Mera no Mi, Yami Yami no Mi, and beyond
The World Government spent 800 years chasing this fruit and lost it to a kid in a fishing village who just thought it looked tasty. Luffy didn't know what it was. He still won.
