Toyota Supra Turbo - Large Scale Car model!

Toyota Supra (JZA80 – MKIV) Large Scale Model

Extending on my recently-loaded Toyota Supra Line-up in a smaller scale ( https://makerworld.com/en/models/1646284-toyota-supra-turbo-model-car-set-with-mods#profileId-1740049 ) this is a dedicated upload for a larger, 200% scale version! 

This started as a tail-end experiment as I was wrapping up the last of the 16 print profiles of the smaller set of supras and wanted to see how large I could push the p1s and x1c build envelope without splitting up the body. It was meant to be because I could literally get it right to 200%  of the original scale in a one-piece print! 

This model measures in at 300mm (11.8 in) length x 120mm (4.72 in ) width x 80mm (3.14 in ) height: Literally double the size of the smaller scale! 

Because of its size, this allowed for a fun update to the print profile: a Brembo Big Brake kit! There are 2 front and 2 rear (slightly smaller) rotors printed in an easy 2-color AMS print and simply slide onto the wheel before you place the wheel onto the spindle. The clearances may be a bit tight and you may need to use a pencil (or something similar) to push the rotors into the place (making sure you align them all the same). 

Please note that you may also need to use a little glue on the wheel/tire depending on your material, as well as a littel dab under the exhaust before installing.

There are currently only 2 version of this larger scale model available (the Ridox Bodykit with the RMM Spoiler, and OEM wingless with front lip, side skirts and Top Secret Hood), however, please keep in mind that ANY of the original 16 models can easily be scaled anywhere from 100-200% and will print just the same! (for the 200% scale model you will need to rotate it as I have in these 2 profile, it barely fits). 

There are also only the SSR SP1 wheels with the black face/silver rim available for wheel choice, if there are any other requests, please drop me a comment!
