Description

A mounting base plate for a 2024 Ford Ranger (should work on newer models also). This holds a screen for a wireless trailer reverse camera on the center console of my 2024 Ford Ranger, using the front cup holder to lock in place. The flat part of the mount simply rests on the console surface in front of the gear shifter. No additional attachment devices are needed. This does limit the access to the wireless charging pad and the narrow cubby hole in front of the shifter, but it is very easy to slip the mount out of the cup holder when needed, then slot back in after you place or remove your phone. The HVAC controls and center volume knob are slightly obscured, but the soft buttons on the center screen are of course still usable, so no functionality of the controls are completely blocked.

I've used this a few times when pulling our camper and it's worked great. The screen has a bit of weight to it, but is held securely and does not move. You even still have a functional cup holder for all but the largest cans/bottles in the front! The rear cup holder is unaffected.

STL file included if you need to move, add, or otherwise modify the screw holes. I have ¼" machine screws and hex nuts to attach the bracket of my wireless camera that I use when towing my camper trailer.

Here is the camera and screen I use: Wkzay Wireless RV Backup Camera:

If you are leaving this in your truck, of course it needs to be printed in a high temperature filament. I used Bambu ASA with the default print profile. I also bumped up the wall count and infill for added strength but that was probably not necessary. There appears to be some under-extrusion in my print but I'm not too worried about aesthetics.
