Description

TMNT-Inspired Blocky Turtle!

Updates 31/07/25 - as requested by zeleznikja (thank you!)

  • Updated plates 2, 6 & 9:
  • Improved Shell Latch and Latch Feature.
  • Improved Shoulder Joint Strength.

I’ve just finished a new blocky character in the style of my other Minecraft-inspired figures… and this one’s gone FULL mutant ninja mode.

Two body styles:

  • With a shell
  • Without a shell (for stealth mode)

Custom accents:

  • Bandana, arms & legs all separate parts so you can swap colours easily
  • Print just one or go full squad: red, blue, purple, orange—up to you

No supports needed
Fully poseable

Pizza and weapons not included (yet...)

This one’s been a blast to make and fits right in with the Flash, Hulk, Spidey, etc.

I've started my collection with Raphael and Donatello, Leonardo’s printing in the background and then I'll finally move on to Michelangelo

Are the shells, and their little stud, supposed to be glued?

I have designed a little latch on them, but a dab of glue wouldn't hurt if the tolerances are a bit loose for you

The stud holds, loosely, to the shell but it falls right out of the body. I used PLA, would the tolerances be different on PETG?

The Ninja Turtles print profile from Bamboo Labs is excellent! It's set up so you can print either singles or multiples easily, and I’ve successfully printed all four turtles. The design includes a gap in their hands so they can perch on top of the filament hub, and now each of my classroom printers has its own turtle mascot. The kids love it, and it’s a fun, lightweight addition that doesn’t interfere with the printing at all.

printed, like, 40 of these. the hips are kinda weak, and it took some effort to get the heads together, but I’m happy with how they turned out! I used pliers with a cloth for lots of the assembly. the effort was 100% worth it!

My kid loves these. I am putting them in Easter eggs this year for him and his friends at school. Great job! easy print. Easy assembly. Solid print that can take abuse from a child.
