Center Console Trash Can for Chevy Bolt 17@21

This small trash can with a lid for cars,

fits perfectly in the center console of a Chevrolet Bolt from 2017 to 2021.

My goals were; to be able to place objects on top of it and for it to remain in place.

The frame should be glued to the container. The handle should also be glued to the lid.

For the hinges, use pieces of AWG12 wire (2mm diameter), the caps fit without glue.

Print in PETG for better UV and heat resistance.

Without a 3D scanner this project required a lot of prototyping. My most challenging project to date.
