Description
64 Sets of Clock Hands for 100mm and 200mm Clock Faces.
I make a lot of clocks and wanted a better selection of clock hands for large and small clocks that would fit any of the clock kits I have. The challenge: Different clock kits have different sized hour/minute/second hand shaft sizes. The Bambu clock kit is different from others you may find on Amazon or Ali. My project allows you to determine the exact shaft sizes and then adjust the hands right on the slicer plate before printing. Personalize any of the hundreds of clock projects found on MW, including my own clock collections.
Procedure:
- Print the shaft gauge to determine the hole sizes for the hour and minute hands. Make sure to use the same printer and filament combination that you will use to print the clock hands. Tiny differences in tolerance between printers and filaments can cause them not to fit properly.
- Adjust the hole size by adjusting the diameter of the negative volume cylinder on the slicer plate.
- All hour and minute clock hands are 1mm thick. You can adjust the z-scale to make them thicker or thinner.
