The M4 screws (which includes a nut) were CADed with the intent of being able to use them in LOW STRESS SITUATIONS. The screws should be similar to the goBILDA M4 screws, which you can use interchangeably with these 3D-printed screws, as shown in a picture above.

Print Instructions:

I printed the screws on a Prusa MK3S+, which had a 0.25mm nozzle, using PLA. I used 100% rectangle infill, random seam position, a layer height of 0.1mm, and two perimeters. The print speed was 10-40mm/s.

Note: all the print files shown in the pictures were printed on an MK3S+ if you have a Bambu printer please use your own print settings as the

MK3S+  does not compare.

If the M4 screws do not properly work, please let me know by leaving a comment or make.

Happy Printing!

PLA material works fine for that model, in the attached picture you can see the screws in application :)

Needed an m4 for my printed spool roller and this worked perfectly. The screw and nut thread together without issue. I printed it with my .4mm nozzle.

Tolerance can be a little tight, but if you play around with the XY offset on the nut then they work. i set it to between .05 to .1 and that was perfect.

It's only for decorative connections and not a real screw for fastening 🤦‍♂️

It is generally understood that plastic is not as strong as metal, so I don't think it's necessary to explicitly state this. I believe everyone should be smart enough to know that.
