1/ The axle hole is deliberately slightly undersized, this allows it to be drilled out so its walls are as smooth as possible. Drill out to 2.5mm2/ The original gear had a small, raised section in the center of the large gear around the axle hole so the whole side of the gear could not rub on the inside of the gear box. I could not replicate that in my drawing, so I also made a small 0.5mm spacer shim to be used in conjunction with the gear. Install the gear and then install the shim on top of it3/ I opted not to use the plastic shim and instead used a metal washer in its place as it will be more durable over time at that small size. It must not be thicker than 0.5mm though so as to allow space on the axle for it and the gear, any thicker and the gear may bind when the gear box is resembled. 4/ I used PETG filament5/ the orange gear in the images is the printed gear, the white ones are the originals

This is a gear for a Bally EM pinball score motor gear box. It is the gear that is driven by the armature gear. It has been tested and works well.
