Description

This is a speaker spacer ring that fits a Kicker KM8 marine speaker into an Apache 2800/ Eylar 13.37 case for DIY Boombox Builds. I prefer the gyroid infill pattern at 25% for these because I like to really crank down the mounting bolts. I print these in PETG for all around use, but all kinds of PLA work really well if you plan on mostly indoor use. Use your best judgement. These are just a tiny bit up from dead center, so if it doesn't fit down good on the ribs, spin it around 180 degrees. I do not include holes, because I like the bolts to cut their own threads in the spacer and case. Install a little bead of silicone between the ring and case and silicone between the speaker and ring.
