Description
This is an upgrade for the 2025 model TuckTec Kayak. The kayak has a design defect that allows water to enter from the sides at high speeds or in choppy water. This flexible TPU part slides over the side flap near the rear clasp and, when folded, fills the gap, preventing water from entering the kayak.
I recommend printing in TPU-95a and using the slicer settings in the print profile to ensure durability and the correct amount of flexibility so that the part deforms to fill the gap without putting too much strain on the fold.
The part can be secured in place with a couple of dabs of superglue to prevent it from sliding off.
