Tiny Baseball Hat/ Baseball Cap for Broken Prints

The Tiny Baseball Hat was designed to be a solution to prints that failed close to their finish. The tiny hats came from when I was printing some Zou 3d elephants and they failed close to the top. I was printing the flexi elephants to sell at a craft fair so I looked for a simple hat to cover the tops of them that also had commercial rights and couldn't find any, so I made one. It's really basic but it works for what I needed and I hope this helps others who are in the same boat as me. You can use this design for commercial use.

I printed it in multicolor because it only needs to switch colors a few times and I have a A1 with AMS lite, however if you have a single color printer, you can just make them single color.  

This file does not need supports.

I included both a large and small baseball cap, but you can also scale either as needed.  Note the edge lines are smoother on the smaller version and look more textured on the larger version. Not sure what size hat you need? Measure the widest part of your print that failed (the top part), and scale the hat accordingly! Single colors print pretty fast so you can also test one before printing a bunch of them. 

You can print the brim in a different color than the cap or in single color.  If you got clever, you could probably even add your own text onto the cap.
