Board Game Trophy & Fidget Toy in 1!

A small side project I've been working on :) We regularly play CATAN and have been integrating 3D printed trophies from the community.

like ‘longest road’ and ‘largest army’. One thing was missing and this was a small silly trophy to claim as the LORD of CATAN!

To the drawing table we went and came up with this :)

Aside from being something physical to claim, it also acts as a fidget toy! The dice can be spun around depending on how tight the trophy part is screwed down. 

Not into CATAN? No worries! We included a default dice as well so it can be used for all sorts of board games.

The complete trophy does NOT require an AMS except for the ‘CATAN’ text dice (the text is just too small to insert separately).

The number dots are printed separately (per object) to save on a lot of filament waste and print time!

UPDATE (Nov 27th 2025):

Added a small ‘basic’ trophy stand which also allows for some text to be added :)

To provide, for example, a “ow great, you were second” prize ;)

Compatible with all Bambu printers: X1 series, P1 Series, A1, A1 Mini and H2D

Instructions

• RECOMMENDED: Print the objects per part to ensure the nozzle does not run into the parts.

  This is not set as a default in the profile to ensure maximum compatibility with all Bambu printers

• CLEAN YOUR PRINT BED (especially for the number dots)
• Print Trophy and Trophy Base
• Choose and print the type of dice you want.
• Print the number dots needed (14 per default dice).

Tips

• The CATAN text dice DOES required on AMS to be printed OR print in one solid color and paint the text :)
• Depending on how strong the trophy is screwed down the dice can be spun around acting as a fidget toy

• The Basic trophy text can be easily changed in the 'object' section. Highlight the ‘CHANGE TEXT HERE’ line, right click on the menu for editing text (see image below):

   

  

Print Settings (recommended)

• No supports needed
• Use default profile provided
• Print number dots per object to ensure better bed adhesion!
• AMS only required for ‘CATAN’ text dice
