Description

Custom handguard for the VMP-2 or mil-spec AR-15/M4 Airsoft guns

I have included a few example sizes of handguard, but it is intended you use the Customiser to generate the style and length of handguard you need, see the Style guide below.

Features STANAG 4694 / Picatinny compatible top rail, and M-Lok compatable side and bottom rails, optional QD sling points front and rear.

Fits mil-spec 1.35" / 35mm barrel nuts.

The top rail also corrects Vorsks mistake and correctly aligns the slots so that standard length risers may now bridge over the TDC if required.

There are three attachment styles used throughout the VMP-2 range.

  • Style 0 - Used on the VMP-2M,MD,S models. clamps onto the barrel nut using two screws and a plate at the bottom (black)
  • Style 1 - Used on the VMP-2C. screws onto the barrel nut with 1 screw each left, right, and underneath. (pink)
  • Style 2 - Used on the VMP-2D,SD models. screws onto the barrel nut with 2 screws each left, right, and underneath. (blue)

Whilst the M,MD, and S normally clamp on they should be compatible with Style 1 as well if you get the barrel nut aligned correctly.

Shortest usable length is around  50mm, as pictured above with the pink 2C handguard. Max length is whatever you can fit on your printer.

Default styles / sizes

  • VMP-2C is 80mm / 3" with a style 1 barrel nut
  • VMP-2S is 180mm / 7" with a style 0 barrel nut
  • VMP-2SD is 180mm / 7" with a style 2 barrel nut
  • VMP-2M is 280mm / 11" with a style 0 barrel nut
  • VMP-2D is 330mm / 13" with a style 0 barrel nut
  • VMP-2MD is 330mm / 13" with a style 2 barrel nut
