Description

This is a very simple improvement you can make to your printer, which aims to prevent the extruder PTFE tube from rubbing on the top cover glass.

You will need a 20mm adhesive furniture pad (Amazon link below but there are many different ones available.)

Just stick the pad onto the protector piece, remove the PTFE tube from the extruder, slide the piece over your PTFE tube and turn it so that it runs against the top cover.

As an added bonus, it will help keep the inside of your top cover clean and make swirly patterns during the noise cancellation phase of calibration LOL (X1/P1 owners). Definitely worth the download just for that ;)

Should work on any 4mm OD PTFE tube like the Bambu X1C, P1S, X2D, H2 series, Elegoo Centauri Carbon, Creality K1, Qidi Plus 4 etc.

Ideally print in PETG or ABS for durability.
