Description

This is a stock delete lipo tray for the XShot MPP. It attaches to the stock threads via a 3d printed lug. The tray requires an m3 x 5mm x 4-6mm heat set insert and a m3x8mm thumbscrew to secure the cover.

The Tray needs supports on the inside flat surface where the lug goes through, but those are the only required supports for the print.

To assemble, use the tool to screw the lug into the Tray until it is flush with the surface that will go against the body of the blaster. Then, feed the battery connector through the lug and make sure the wires go into the circular cutout. Insert the tool with the cutout corner facing the wires. This should help prevent the wires from twisting while you screw in the lug. Proceed to hold the tray in place against the body while you turn the lug via the tool to screw it into the body. If you hit resistance, stop and wiggle the tray a bit while backing out the lug. The threads are prone to crossthreading if the tray sinches down too hard against the blaster during assembly. Continue to screw in the lug until it is flush with the inside of the tray. Install a heat set insert into the post/hole. Install your lipo and plug it in. Tuck the wires neatly inside the tray and slide the cap on, then secure with the m3 thumbscrew.

The tray may have a small bit of wiggle side to side since it is only held by the lug; this is acceptable, it is securely attached.
