Description

TL;DR

  • Designed specifically for Arturia keyboards/synths cable clearance including:
    • MiniFreak
    • KeyStep Pro
    • BeatStep Pro
    • KeyStep37
  • Could work with other brands as well but I have not test any
  • Thick and tapered shape for stability
  • Separate pieces for varying lengths of keyboards
  • I printed with Fuzzy Skin for grip and to hide layer lines
  • Recommended to use adaptive layer height for curved areas

I recently made this for my new DAW-less setup. I looked around for a while and couldn't find a keyboard stand that had the clearance I needed for cables from my MiniFreak to run under my KeyStep Pro. It was always either too short or too tall. 

 

So, I designed this stand specifically for the Arturia keyboards I own with enough height to clear the output ports without being too much so that it looks weird in my setup. They are thick and tapered to allow the 2 sides to be stable enough to not be connected and thus support a variety of lengths. You should be able to run any combination with most of Arturia's small and medium keyboards. I have not tested it on Arturia's larger keyboards or on keyboards of from other brands, but I'm sure some of them will work. I added the Arturia logo to look cool and for some extra support.

 

I decided to set the print profile up to use fuzzy skin for added grip and to make the overall appearance look better with the curved surfaces. I also recommend using adaptive layer height to further improve the quality.
