Shelfy - Now Infinitely Stackable!
Print Profile(3)

Description
Have you ever wanted a 16cm by 16cm tray to store your various gubbins? Well this is the storage solution for you. It is satisfyingly smooth and rounded and it fits as many gubbins as you would reasonably expect such a shelf to store.
As of v1.2, it is also Infinitely Stackable! You can have as many shelves as you want!
How to Print:
It prints well in Basic PLA. Wood PLA is also excellent. The minimum requirement is to print the Top and the Bottom piece. These then slot together without any sanding or suffering. If you want more than two levels, print a middle shelf. You can print as many middle shelves as you want, in order to increase the height. So far I'm up to 4 levels, and it's still a stable usable tower.
Two Level Shelf:
Time to Print: 5:01
Filament: 268g
Middle Shelf:
Time to Print: 3:12
Filament: 165g
(The middle shelf can be printed multiple times to get you as many layers as you want.)
About the Demo:
The tree shown in the images is this freestanding tree by Áron Pozsár. My wife and I use it to store our rings if we're not wearing them.
Two Levels
One is printed in Black Basic PLA, the other in Rosewood Wood PLA. The bottom tray is holding a full-size adult wallet and airpod pros.
Four Levels
This is printed in Black Basic PLA. It is my original v1 shelfy, with two additional middle layers. All shelfy shelves are compatible :)
Changelog
06/08/25 - v1.2 - Added a middle shelf. This is an optional extra layer, which can be stacked infinitely. It is compatible with your existing Shelfy if you already have one!
05/08/25 - v1.1 - @AnimeFanlove taught me that it is possible to add modifiers to the print profile in Bambu Studio, without having to remodel it. This allowed me to make the posts 100% infill, which should alleviate any fragility concerns and allow for significantly higher towers in the future.
How to Help:
I'm still new to designing and printing things, so if you can come up with a better way of printing it or a better design, please share it.
Future Ideas:
I'd like to expand this shelving universe and have different types of shelves that can be interconnected. Multiple levels, a flat top, drawers. I see a lot of potential in the design because it's really quite satisfying on my desk, and it makes me yearn for more.
