Description

This is a 3D-printed, semi-automatic donut maker designed for easy and fun donut making at home or in small-scale kitchens. Simply pour the batter into the top container, press the handle, and the machine drops perfectly shaped donut rings directly into hot oil for frying.

The machine is compact, lightweight, and made from durable food-safe materials, making it ideal for hobby bakers, street food vendors, or anyone who wants a simple way to make fresh donuts. Its 3D-printed design makes it easy to modify or reprint parts if needed.

šŸ© Recipe: Pourable Donut Batter (for deep frying)

Ingredients:

  • 250 ml (1 cup) milk (lukewarm)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter or neutral oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar (optional)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • About 300–350 ml (1¼–1½ cups) all-purpose flour

Optional: A pinch of ground nutmeg or cinnamon for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, butter/oil, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the flour and baking powder, then sift it into the wet ingredients.
  3. Whisk until you get a smooth and pourable batter – similar to thick pancake batter. Adjust with more flour or milk if needed.
  4. Let the batter rest for about 10 minutes.
  5. Pour the batter into your donut maker and fry directly in oil heated to around 175°C (350°F), about 1–2 minutes per side depending on size.
  6. Remove from oil, drain, and coat with sugar, cinnamon, or glaze as desired.
