Description

Meet Selene, a self-watering insert made to keep your plants perfectly hydrated — no more guessing when to water. 💧
The integrated water level indicator shows exactly how much water is left, ensuring your plants always have the right amount.

Combine it with the Selene Planter for a seamless and efficient setup that blends design and functionality.

🪴 Before Planting:

  • Make sure to follow step 5 in the assembly video! This step is essential to balance the water level correctly, ensuring your plants never get too much or too little water once potted.

📏 Dimensions:

  • given in print profiles!
  • check STL-files for more caps!

⚙️ Settings:

  • layer height: 0.2mm
  • line width: 0.42mm!
  • wall loops: 3
  • infill: 100%
  • You can also use your own settings on your own risk!

💡 Note:

  • When scaling the insert, the wall thickness will also change — this can affect watertightness.
Feel free to contact me for other dimensions!

🔄 Update:

  • 22.01.2025: Redesigned the inner pot and tubing
  • 07.05.2025: Added the water inlet (thanks to @Boskabouter!)
  • 10.06.2025: Edited the tube, cap, rod, and underpart

Feel free to upload your Makes and pictures of it!

Love your self watering pots. Print the Rhea and Zenith. Printed the selene.planter already. But where is the water inlet? Seems that is missing.

I think it is still missing - the stl files are just 2 caps

Hey. I don't upload the stl-files for the whole insert. I just upload some different cap-sizes. Please use the printprofiles for the insert itself! :)

@Lexxoo Hi, I think the new tubing and Styrofoam cup are incompatible. I don't see any way to insert the cup into the opening whole.

What do you mean it doesn't look like the picture? You have to assemble it first. The first picture also shows the insert in the plant pot (linked in the description!) But of course, I'll add instructional pictures soon!
