Description

📌Description:
This is a 3D-printable replacement cap designed for CP250 butane gas canisters (also known as MSF-1a cartridges). It replicates the size and fit of the original cap and is intended to cover the valve during storage (or transport).

The cap fits snugly onto the cartridge and stays in place when lifted. It is easy to print with standard FDM 3D printers using PLA+ or similar materials. A clean and precise print ensures a firm fit.

🛠️Tested materials and fit:

I printed the replacement caps with PLA+ (SUNLU) and PLA (Bambu Lab). They fit snugly and can be installed and removed just like the original caps. It is best to allow the component to cool down sufficiently before using it.

❗️Important Note:

Heat can negatively affect the tight fit of the cap. If you use the cap in warm environments, it's best to use PETG, ASA or ABS. Always check that the storage/replacement cap is properly and securely in place. Always store the bottles upright! Always follow the safety instructions on the cartridges.
