By popular demand, a reverse mounting plate for IMOU indoor security cameras with a magnetic attachment has been created. No drilling or screwing is necessary for installation on metal surfaces. Compatibility has been tested on IMOU RANGER 2C and 3C cameras, but it will undoubtedly be compatible with other IMOU series cameras and beyond. The plate features two 2.5mm diameter holes for M3 threaded screws to attach the bracket included with your IMOU camera. Alternatively, small self-tapping screws can be used, ensuring they do not protrude from the back of the plate. The plate has four internal recesses to house the magnets, which are then concealed by the print. Three versions are available: one for 20mm x 10mm x 4mm rectangular magnets, one for 10mm x 5mm x 1mm rectangular magnets, and one for 15mm x 3mm round magnets. Choose the version that best suits your needs. The print profiles are created using ABS, but the material can be changed as desired; standard PLA would also be suitable. Do not modify the profile. It includes a pause at the correct layer for magnet insertion and incorporates a modifier cube in the mounting hole section to ensure a secure M3 thread.
To save printing time, you can opt for a single color and remove the text. The “MAGNETIC BASE” inscription is customizable via Bambu Studio.
